Sixteen fully active degrees of freedom using direct-drive joint modules built on high-performance coreless brushless motors and worm-gear trains. Position and torque are closed-loop controlled for micrometre-class transmission, so it handles precision assembly and fragile-part grasping; a 20 kg rated load and a 0.88 s cycle keep pick-move-place flowing, and the self-locking design holds a payload at zero power draw. Rated static current is only 0.27 A, supporting 24 V industrial supply and around-the-clock operation.
